Bath Faucets
A faucet is no longer just a functional part of the bathroom. Now it’s used as a way to add the final polish to the bathroom’s décor, just like a stylist will add jewelry to complete an outfit. Designers such as Graff have taken the artistic side of the bathroom to the extreme, producing startling cubist-style faucets and minimalist chrome pieces. The most popular finish for faucets at the moment are modern chromes and silvers, although you may wish to opt for a bronze-colored piece if it suits your design. These work well with warm colors such as ochres, reds and oranges.
The design of the faucet will depend on the layout of your bathroom and the space available. A mixed faucet is ideal if space is limited, as it means less clutter on the side of your bath or basin. To take it one step further, try a wall-mounted piece. Matching your faucet to the shower and the other parts of the room such as the basin, will bring continuity – ideal if you have a large space for your design.
